The Children of Tython

It is a time of turmoil in the Galaxy,
The Sith Empire, encroaching ever further into Republic business,
push them ever closer to breaking the treaty of Coruscant.

The Jedi Order, confronted with the face of evil opposing them,
Have deployed themselves across the known Galaxy,
to combat the growing Sith menace.

Many Jedi have formed together,
creating organisations within the Order,
to better defend against the Empire.

The Children of Tython are one such group,
sworn to defend the Republic from the Empire's evil.
In space above Kuat, they prepare to move against the Empire...

2011 Forum Pimpage

sooo as you can see we have some swanky new forums thanks to Kaspanova

Still gotta sort the CMS out once that has been sorted on Invisions end.

Then gonna finish the theme as there are still some things that need tweaking.

Then i would say we need a dam good tidy up of removing old stickys etc that are a tad out of date

For those on iPhones there is an IPB application but from reading comments they released an update that broke it from working so i'll keep an eye on this and see if theres something for others, the forum does feature a Mobile theme built in which it defaults to from mobile devices !


Admins are pretty much the same as before, Rusty, Terracus, Me, Baku, LP and Orezoen with the added addition of Kaspanova.

I've made Sixxth a mod of the forums as he's pretty active

I've simplified the usergroups from what we used to have them as, basically when someone registers they become a Member, this gives them access to read everything but the SWTOR / MxO / Admin forums.

Guests can only view the two Hybrid Gamers areas, logging in will reveal more.

When changing people's usergroups to give them permission to view MxO or SWTOR, you just have to add it as a secondary usergroup not change the primary, If you change the primary they will loose access to everything but what you change it too.

SWTOR forums have the following usergroups

• The Old Republic which gives access to everywhere but Command Council
  
• TOR Command - Gives access to the Council forum.

If you want to give access to a member of the SWTOR guild then they get The Old Republic as a secondary group, If you want to give them access to the Council Forum aswell then press CTRL and click on both The Old Republic and TOR Command.
